Get Started with WideQuick MOD¶
What is WideQuick MOD¶
WideQuick MOD is Kentima's modular framework for building HMI and SCADA applications. It provides a structured project foundation with a library of production-ready modules covering the features every system needs — from alarms and navigation to maintenance scheduling and reporting. Integrators include only the modules the project requires and leave out the rest.

What is included¶
The following modules are included out of the box:
- Alarms — Alarm management and monitoring
- Alarm Sending — Email and SMS notifications for alarm events
- Calendar — Scheduling and time-based control
- Dashboards — Customizable overview displays
- Documents — Document storage and management
- History — Historical data logging and trends
- Logbook — Operational notes
- Maintenance — Maintenance scheduling and tracking
- Maps — Interactive map views with status indicators
- Navigation — Plug and play navigation that builds itself, with support for privilege-based adaptive menus
- Popups — Pre-built object popups for process interaction
- Reports — Automated report generation and scheduling
- Graphical Symbols — Extensive and extendable symbol libraries with pre-configured P&ID symbols ready to use out of the box
- Theming — Adapt the application to suit your customers or your own graphical profile
